Circa 1815, stunning Regency period mahogany breakfront chiffonier with green marble top.

C1815 English Regency period superb solid mahogany breakfront chiffonier with green marble top over cupboard base. The top is beautifully grained green marble in breakfront form over a breakfront cupboard base having three brass inlaid drawers over doors with brass grilles over pleated pale silk fabric. There are two adjustable shelves to each section of the interior. The middle section is accented with pillars and brass capitals. It is a true representation of a classic piece. An elegant and useful piece of furniture, suitable for use as a server, sideboard, or a bookcase, with excellent dimensions to fit any room. This also makes a fabulous drinks cabinet! Size-54.5 inches long, by 15 inches deep, by 34.5 inches high. Wonderful craftsmanship, colour, and patination, and with original keys. In very good condition. Victorian Mahogany Breakfront Combination Wardrobe

This is a stunning mid-Victorian mahogany triple break front combination wardrobe. The hanging cupboards to either side have the original shoe or hat boxes in the bottom with hinged lids. The cupboard on the left has a sliding hanger rail front to back with wooden clothes pegs around; the cupboard on the right has a hanging rail from side to side, also with wooden clothes pegs around. The central cupboard has four slides and three variegated size drawers. On the outside, each door has the original cut glass handles and the central door has the original mirror (with some slight amount of foxing in the middle). It has a timeless classical style which would grace any room, the cabinet makers having used the finest quality veneers to create the beautiful effect on the front. Maximum measurements (cornice): 87" (221cm) wide, 31" (79cm) deep, 81" (216cm) high.

Large Victorian Breakfront Mahogany Bookcase ca 1860 This beautiful antique large Victorian breakfront mahogany bookcase has a moulded cornice above a deep frieze above three glazed panels with arched moulding. The two outer doors have glass knobs, key, working locks and the interior has three removable shelves. The lower section has a moulded breakfront top above three shaped frieze drawers above a central fixed panel and two outer doors all with arched moulding, glass knobs, key and working locks. The interior has one fixed shelf. The lower doors are flanked by two beautiful turned columns and the piece stands on a shaped plinth. The piece splits into two sections, is a warm rich red colour with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing. HANDSOME & IMPOSING VICTORIAN MAHOGANY BREAKFRONT TRIPLE WARDROBE COMPACTUM OF EXCELLENT QUALITY AND DATING FROM AROUND 1860. IT HAS A MOULDED CORNICE TOP ABOVE A DEEP MAHOGANY FRIEZE. THE BREAKFRONT HAS A FULL LENGTH BEVELLED MIRRORED DOOR SURROUNDED BY MAHOGANY FRAME WITH ARCHED TOP AND CARVED ACANTHUS CREST. INTERNALLY THERE IS AN OPEN SECTION WITH BRASS HOOKS AND FIVE GRADUATING DEEP DRAWERS ALL WITH BRASS HANDLES AND BEING MAHOGANY LINED. THERE ARE TWO FURTHER PANELLED AND ARCHED DOORS TO EITHER END FITTED INTERNALLY WITH BRASS HANGING RAIL AND DRAWER TO THE BOTTOM. IT STANDS ON A MOULDED PLINTH BASE. The central interior has hanging hooks above a fixed shelf and five sliding linen trays. The right interior has hanging hooks, a later hanging rail, one fixed shelf and a sliding linen tray. The left interior has a hanging hook above a fixed shelf and a sliding linen tray (a modern hanging rail could be fitted, at no extra cost if required).
