Edwardian Mahogany Glazed Bookcase ca 1900 This beautiful antique Edwardian mahogany bookcase has a moulded cornice with a deep frieze above two glazed doors with moulding, key and working lock. The interior has three shelves. The lower section is low waisted with a rectangular moulded top above two glazed doors with moulding and the interior has one later shelf. The piece has a reeded lower edge, stands on splayed bracket feet and has a label J. Tucker & son. Kensington. The piece splits into two sections for ease of removals, is a warm medium mahogany colour with a striking grain, good patina, is in good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
