A very attractive Georgian mahogany demi-lune tea table which is actually oval in shape when open. It has a figured frieze inlaid with boxwood and ebony and is unusual in having original brass castors. The table is in excellent original condition. Dimensions: 37 1/2" wide x 16 1/2" deep x 29" high

Georgian Mahogany Demi Lune Card Table ca 1800 This beautiful Georgian mahogany demi lune card table has a semi circular top with boxwood string inlay and both back legs swing out to support the top which unfold to double in size. The top has a green baize interior and original brass hinges. The piece has a deep frieze , stands on four tapering legs with spade feet , has boxwood stringing and oval inlaid panels. The piece has a minor mark on the top, is a rich red mahogany colour with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
