The piece has two shaped drop leaves with moulded edges, stands on beautiful turned reeded legs with reeded supports, has a turned cross stretcher and small wooden castors. Two of the legs swing out to support the leaves. The piece is very compact when folded and opens to a very usable size. The top is quarter veneered in burr/figured walnut with mahogany cross banding and feathered line inlay and stands on four elegant cabriole supports with carved shoulders and pad feet. It is of superb quality, dates to about 1930 and is in excellent showroom condition having been cleaned and sympathetically repolished whilst retaining its original character.
