An Exceptional example of an 18th Century Longcase Clock |
| This outstanding example of a mahogany longcase clock displays a break arch top case figured door. The decorative brass dial has a silvered chapter ring and centre with subsidiary seconds.
The time piece has a fine eight day movement and a five pillar and anchor escapement.
The dial is signed Andrews of Enfield.

An Exceptional example of an Edwardian Longcase clock |
| An example of a very high quality Edwardian longcase clock. The heavy brass plate three train movement has a dead beat escapement with an engraved silvered dial, chapter ring and brass spandrels chiming three tunes on nine tubes Westminster Whittington and St Michael.
The time piece is in a solid mahogany case with side hood frets and a glazed bevelled edge trunk.

| Very unusual small Swedish longcae clock dating from the early 19th Century. The 8 day weight driven pendulum movement also has an alrm mechanism. The dial only (9 inches diameter) has its original ground. The case has a gilt bezel and glass lenticle in the door. c.1830. serviced and guaranteed

| Late 18th Century Swedish longcase clock, having a whit painte waisted case, with glass door lenticle, shaped glass hood sides and a carved crest. The 8 day double bell hour striking movement also has an alarm mechanism.There is a date of 1799 inside the door. Made by Frideillais of Eskellstuna. Serviced and guaranteed.

THESE CLOCKS ARE VERY RARE IN SCOTLAND. MADE AS AN APPRENTICE PIECE. THIS CASE IS AN EXACT COPY OF A FULL SIZE LONGCASE CLOCK. EVERY DETAIL HAS BEEN SCALED DOWN TO MAKE A MINIATURE VERSION OF THE ORIGINAL. IT IS ONLY 48 INCHES HIGH.

The detail in the case is very exact, down to the hoods sliding lock, the inlay and cross banding. The clock case was made in the Dundee or Tayside / Angus area.
When made 200 years ago, it wouldn’t have had a clock works. It now has a weight driven movement and a painted dial.
The hood with fully formed inlaid swan neck pediments and reeded side pillars. The case with figured mahogany trunk door and cross banding, flanked by reeded pillars. The cross-banded base with figured mahogany central panel, sitting on bracket feet. It has it’s original trunk door lock and key.
The 6.75 inch painted dial has painted flowers in the arch and spandrels, Roman numerals and pierced steel hands.
The 8 day movement. Circa 1890. Is weight driven and strikes the hours and the halves on a bell and is. In full working order. It has brass weights, long pendulum and crank winding key.
