A Superb C18th Oak Eight Day 'Rocking Ship' Movement Longcase Clock.
The 12in dial incorporating a calendar apperture & subsidiary seconds dial to the centre, with sprays of flowers adorning the corners. The arch painted with a castle seascape housing the painted rocking ship apperture. The hood with swan neck split pediment above the arched door flanked by reeded columns. The case with shaped trunk with marquetry starburst & flanked by fluted quadrant columns. 88ins (224cm) high, 18ins (46cms) wide & 10.5ins (27cm) deep.
The movement has recently been completely overhauled and is in good working order with documentation supplied.

An Exceptional example of an 18th Century Longcase Clock
This outstanding example of a mahogany longcase clock displays a break arch top case figured door. The decorative brass dial has a silvered chapter ring and centre with subsidiary seconds.
The time piece has a fine eight day movement and a five pillar and anchor escapement.
The dial is signed Andrews of Enfield.

An Exceptional example of an Edwardian Longcase clock
An example of a very high quality Edwardian longcase clock. The heavy brass plate three train movement has a dead beat escapement with an engraved silvered dial, chapter ring and brass spandrels chiming three tunes on nine tubes Westminster Whittington and St Michael.
The time piece is in a solid mahogany case with side hood frets and a glazed bevelled edge trunk.
