| ‘Liberty’ Mahogany Arts and Crafts Dresser ca 1900
This beautiful mahogany Arts and Crafts dressing table / display has a makers stamp on the lower locks ‘Libertys London’. The piece has a moulded cornice above three glazed doors with moulded edges, key and working locks and the upper interiors are lined with green velvet (a little faded) and have glass shelves. The piece has a central mahogany lined drawer with original brass handles above an open shelf with turned column supports and is flanked by two cupboard doors with moulded panels. The lower section has a shaped lower tier and stands on eight tapering legs with spade feet. The piece is a rich red mahogany colour with a striking grain, good patina, is in good original condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.

| A fantastic arts and crafts oak mirror backed dresser/sideboard, the dresser is in a liberty style, with wonderful cloud and heart shape cut outs (see photographs) circa 1900, all original door furniture handles hinges etc, size 5' long x 6’ high x 20" across the base top, one cupboard with a sliding metal lined drinks shelf and secret compartment, two no drawers one with lining for cutlery, and large cupboard under, lovely aged colour, all in original excellent condition. |
