Large Victorian Mahogany Twin Pedestal Desk ca 1870 This beautiful large antique Victorian mahogany twin pedestal desk has a moulded top with a central faux leather writing insert above a beautifully carved central mahogany lined drawer. The piece has shaped brackets above a large kneehole and each pedestal has four graduating mahogany lined drawers with turned knobs. The piece stands on a plain plinth, has a couple of minor old repairs, is a rich red mahogany colour with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing. Large Mahogany Twin Pedestal Desk ca 1920 This beautiful large mahogany twin pedestal desk has a rectangular moulded top with a central tooled black faux leather writing insert. Each pedestal has a pull put writing slide above three graduating drawers with swan neck handles. The piece has a central drawer with a large kneehole, the sides are panelled, the piece stands on tapering legs and the back has been finished enabling the piece to be place anywhere in a room. The piece is a light mahogany colour with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
