Large Circular Mahogany Tilt Top Dining Table ca 1860 This beautiful large antique mahogany tilt top dining table has a circular moulded top which tilts and has its original brass mechanism and bolts. The piece stands on a beautiful turned pedestal and has tripod scrolled, carved legs with brown porcelain castors. The piece is a rich warm red mahogany colour with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing. The piece has a winding handle and mechanism and the top is moulded with two additional leaves. Offered for sale is this superb large early Victorian mahogany rectangular telescopic dining table extending from 51" x 54" to 130" x 51" with three leaves, all original. The rectangular top has a single moulded lip above ring turned supports with original brass castors and dates to about 1840. The pull out extending mechanism is very stable and works smoothly. The table has been cleaned and sympathetically repolished whilst retaining its original character. It is in excellent showroom condition. Circa 1900 Edwardian mahogany Dining Table to seat 10 A versatile and beautiful Edwardian highly figured mahogany dining table to seat 10 with ease. The demi ends have attractive tapering legs with bell flower carving, with hinged leaf attached. This lovely table can be used with the demi ends and hinged leaf to seat 8 or if prefered the extra leaf can be inserted to allow 10. A hinged gate leg on either demi sections opens to add support. The height of this particular table allows ample knee room for the taller guests. This table is awaiting workshop preparation and once it has been put through the workshops will be re photographed, the pictures show it a little darker than it is in the flesh.
