This is a lovely quality large Royal Worcester Blush Ivory Claret Jug / Ewer, Shape Number 1047. Dating to around 1900 this piece is beautifully decorated with floral sprays. Circa 1893 large nine piece English Aesthetic period wash set by Ford and Sons.

Circa 1893 large nine piece Aesthetic period jug and bowl extended washing set by Ford and Sons in the Tudor pattern. The company mark was only used 1893-1907. The very striking combination of transfer and hand painted stylised flower decoration also corresponds to that period of the late 19th and early 20th century. The service comprises a large bowl with tall jug, and unusually another matching jug, a waste bucket with rare original draining top, a toothbrush jug, and a three piece soap dish. Size-jugs 13.75 inches high by 9 inches wide with handle; bowl 16.5 inches diameter by 6 inches high; waste bucket 11.25 inches high by 10 inches diameter; toothbrush jug 6 inches high by 3 5/8 inches deep; soap dish 5.75 inches diameter by 3.5 inches high. The set is in very good condition generally with some minor chipping or hairlines to a couple of pieces, while the bowl portion of the soap dish has significant flaking. Today, the waste bucket is often used as a waste basket, while the other pieces are decorative, or often hold flowers. A very stylish and decorative set for the wash stand or to display.

Sheffield 1924 solid silver large cream jug by WALKER AND HALL.

Sheffield 1924 solid English hallmarked silver generously sized cream jug by famous maker Walker and Hall. In round shape, with Greek key design below rim, and leaf and foliate handle, this is a very attractive piece, as well as being very useful. Heavy at 185 grams. Size-6 inches long by 4 inches wide by 3 inches high, including handle. In very good condition.

19th century lovely large hand painted Minton jug with rose buds and gilt Greek key design, and leaf carving to handle base. Impressed mark to underside. In excellent condition, and by famous maker.

Ridgways Large Art Deco Jug, 1930's

An unusual and distinctive Art Deco jug made by the famous potters Ridgways in the 1930's. It stands 8" high, with a rounded body tapering to the base. The main colour of the jug is a very pale lemon, with green and yellow bands to the ridged lower part, and green dot decoration to the top edge. The jug is in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks, crazing or repairs. A style which would fit into a modern or period interior.

A SUPERB Derby LARGE maskjug, C,1758.

This is without doubt, one of the nicest botanical early Derby maskjugs I have ever seen. The flower painting is obviously by one of the top Derby artists, such as EDWARD WITHERS. I have never seen wheatsheaves like those, together with botanical flowers. This jug has remained in LOVELY CONDITION, with only one tiny tiny very professionally restored chip to the rim near the spout, otherwise FINE.
