| Mid 18thC. Lantern clock made for the Turkish market. The movemnt has its engraved side doors and original verge escapement. The dial has Turkish style spandrels and chapter ring., it is sign "Geo Clarke, Leadenhall St., London". He is listed as working between 1725-1787, producing various clocks for the Turkish market, which are now in museums around the world.
