The table is a rich red mahogany colour with a striking grain, good patina, is in good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing. Superb Moorcroft Pottery Flambe Flowers Lamp Base

This is a fabulous Moorcroft Pottery Flambe Lamp Base. The piece is superbly detailed with tube lined decoration and a rich flambe ground. A tall piece at approximately just over 10" in height (including the fixing). In excellent overall condition, there is some very gentle crazing commensurate with the age / nature of the piece. It is always very difficult to photograph Flambe pieces as the colour varies so much depending on the light etc, this piece has a rich and strong flambe glaze. A highly sought after piece of early Moorcroft Pottery. Please Note: We have not tested the electrical aspects of this piece.
