Heal- Victorian Satin Birch Linen Press ca 1860 This beautiful Victorian satin birch linen press is stamped by the renowned maker Heal and has a moulded cornice above two arched panelled doors with original turned knobs. The interior has four sliding, mahogany lined, linen trays and the lower section has two over two graduating mahogany lined drawers with original turned knobs. The piece stands on plain plinth, has original backboards, splits into three sections for ease of removals, is a golden satin birch colour with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing. ‘Heals’ Victorian Mahogany Bow Front Wardrobe ca 1890 This striking Victorian mahogany bow front double wardrobe / armoire has an original makers stamp ‘Heal and Son London’. The piece has a rectangular moulded cornice with dentil moulding above two full length doors with shaped raised fielded panels, original handle, key and working lock. The interior has one removable shelf above a brass hanging rail and hooks. The piece stands on a shaped base with blind fretwork, has shaped bracket feet, is a rich red mahogany colour with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good original condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
