German Porcelain Fruit Bowl Victorian |
| This pretty porcelain fruit bowl with reticulated rim and decorated with cherries to the centre was manufactured in Germany in the late 1800's. It measures 8.5" in diameter, and has no damage or repairs, and no wear to the gilding. There are no maker's marks, and it was probably part of a large dessert service.
This would make an excellent and useful table decoration.

| 19th century, marked for before 1888 solid German hallmarked silver .750 fine childs service comprising fork, dessert sized spoon, and beaker in original unusually shaped case.

The fork and spoon have a fine double struck Art Nouveau scroll pattern to the stems.

Spoon measures 7.5 inches long.

Fork worn to tines, while the spoon and beaker are in very good condition. |
Pair German Bisque Figures 1880-1900 |
| This delightful pair of German bisque figures date from c1880 to 1900. They are 11.5" high, and are in very good condition, with the exception of the female who has damage to the end of the forefinger on the left hand. This is hardly noticeable, and would be easily repaired.
The pair are dressed in pale green and cream with gilt highlights. The man wears a tyrolean hat and carries a flask, and the female is wearing a straw hat, and what appears to be a binocular case, and both seem to be peeering into the distance. The colouring and detail are very good, with realistic skin tones.
A very attractive pair of ornaments, in excellent condition for their age.
