London 1912 solid silver topped glass spirit flasks in crescent shaped glass, in fitted case by Finnigans of Bond Street.

London 1912 English hallmarked solid silver topped glass spirit flasks in crescent shaped bottles, mounted in bespoke fitted leather case, by Finnigans of Bond Street. The glass is in perfect condition, and there is some slight bruising to one silver top. The silver tops screw on to the glass flasks, for a tight seal. Size overall in case-5 inches high by 2.75 inches diameter. Flasks alone-4.5 inches high, 2.4 inches wide and 1.1 inches deep. The case bears the retailers marks inside the lid. An unusual pair of cased flasks in very good condition.

A delightful compact small manicure set dating from the early 19th century. Images show it open & closed. In addition to tools for the cuticles and cleaning & filing the nails there is an ear spoon and the hinged base opens to reveal four toothpicks. Height 5cms. Excellent condition.

Victorian Mahogany Gillows Bonheur du Jour ca 1890 This beautiful antique Victorian mahogany Bonheur du jour / display cabinet is constructed in the style and quality of a Chippendale revival Waring & Gillows piece. The craftsmanship and quality of the fretwork is outstanding. The piece has a carved gallery above two glazed doors with key and working lock and the interior has two removable shelves. The lower section has a rectangular moulded top above two mahogany lined drawers with brass knobs and the piece stands on shaped legs. The piece has a lower tier with gallery and all the edges are worked with either fretwork or blind fretwork. The piece is a rich dark red mahogany colour with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good original condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing. Large Victorian overmantle.

Very large Victorian. Single plate with bevelled edge. The mirror has very elaborate panelled back. It has been overpainted but with signs of original paint and gilt underneath. Bought in a house Ashburton, Devon last week.
