Size of teapot Ht.2.5cms, span from tip of spout to handle 5cms. NB Miniatures of various domestic items were popular collectables in the latter years of the 19th and the beginning of 20th century

Antique Dutch silver miniature; on square base, a gentleman playing a pair of cymbals, the base has a "musical scale" engraved on the base, a really charming musical theme. c. 1890. Base 2cm X 2cm. Height 2.5cm.

Birmingham 1906 solid English hallmarked silver miniature quaich (two handled Scottish shallow drinking vessel) made by very good makers Hillard and Thompson, and with very good weight and in excellent condition. Size-3 1/8 inches diameter by .75 inches high.

Miniature silver propelling pencil

A silver miniature propelling pencil hallmarked for Birmingham 1906 by A. H. Woodward. The handle simply engraved, the top set with an amethyst stone. Fully extended length 5.5cms, closed 4cms

A very pretty example of the small propelling pencils so popular at the turn of the 20th century. In gold or silver/gilt (not tested), with a decorated top reminiscent of the capital on a p;illar, set with an amethyst stone, the handle with anengraved decorative design. Silver miniature propelling pencil by Samson Morden. Marked only 'S.Morden & Co', the top set with a red speckled hardstone. Suspension ring. Open length 5.6cms. Retracted length 4.7cms. Date early 20th century

Early silver 'toy' Fish on a Griddle

An example of the type of small silver item called 'toy' which was used to teach girls the art of housekeeping in past centuries. This example is unmarked but dates from the first half 18cent. Many of these items were produced in Holland at this time. Very collectable and often appeal to the present taste for furnishing a grown-ups dolls' house! Length to tip of handle 2.75ins (7cms)

Late Early 18 cent silver porringer

A very early 18 century miniature silver porringer of the Queen Anne period. Measuring 3cms in diameter, weight 0.5ozs, it has one handle. Marked, but those obliterated by the piercing to the handle. Probably Dutch.
