| Regency Mahogany twin pedestal dining table ca 1820
This striking antique Regency Mahogany twin pedestal dining table consists of two d ends and central removable leaf. The top is cross banded, has ebony string inlay, has a reeded edge and brass clips to hold it together securely. The table stands on two beautifully turned pedestals with tripod splayed legs, has boxwood string inlay and brass acanthus leaf casters. The table has later adjustments, is a warm rich red mahogany colour, has striking grain, good patina, and is in good condition, which has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
