It has been professionally restored and re-upholstered in a high quality red leather with brass stud work, using traditional methods. It is deep buttoned to the seat and arms with a sprung seat.

| Beautiful Green Early Victorian Leather Library armchair
A beautiful Early Victorian Library armchair dating to Circa 1850, the serpentine front seat having been reupholstered from a bare frame using traditional materials including horse hair is finished in a lovely green leather. The horseshoe shaped back again in green leather is buttoned and finished in small close nails, having foliate carved mahogany end caps supported by a central pierced foliate carved section flanked by scrolling supports the whole raised on 2 attractive turned and tapering legs with brass bucket casters, the back legs being splayed.
