c1880 PATENT (WL) BEADED OPALESCENT JUG PITCHER TUMBLER  

NEW. A rare and delightful water jug and tumbler set, the jug with a tall spout, loop handle and spherical body, the matching tumbler with a straight neck and lightly compressed spherical body. Both pieces have rigaree applied collars, and each is decorated with enamelled water lilies covered with coraline bead work - many hundreds of applied tiny clear glass beads - over a graduated opalescent tinted ground. The decoration is enhanced with gilded water ripples. Condition: bruise to the neck of the jug, just below the applied handle (possibly from pressure or temperature difference when the handle was applied); bead losses; some light age and use wear; nothing further found; indented and polished pontils - if you have any questions about this item, contact me. c1890 GRADUATED AMBER CAMEO CUT WATER JUG PITCHER, POSSIBLY WEBB  

NEW. A very decorative crystal cameo water jug of fluted conical form, with a narrow collar neck and applied loop handle. The body of the jug and the handle are acid cut and engraved with stylised fruiting trees and butterflies, the base is embellished with a large star burst; the colour graduates from a deep amber to clear. c1900 POSSIBLY MOSER WINE JUG, PITCHER, CARAFE, DECANTER  

NEW. An excellent, tall, tapered wine jug, with a hinged brass top, fountain finial, and elegantly styled four sided handle. Cut from ruby to clear, the six sided body is finely hand enamelled with raised and gilded scrollwork and grid designs, the grids alternately filled with crosses and bead dots. The jug features six oblong ruby panels highlighted with gilt; the neck is embellished with a cut and gilded ruby band. c1905 POSSIBLY MOSER NOUVEAU CRANBERRY DECANTER, PITCHER CARAFE  

NEW. A fine Nouveau, four sided cranberry glass decanter, with a clear facet panel air bubble stopper, gilt embellished bowl shaped spout, and applied and gilded handle. The decanter is decorated with three large raised enamel stylised flowers on gilt whiplash stems, with additional intricate gilt flower head accenting. Condition: some rubbing to the gilt, a white speck embedded in the glass; light age and use wear; no damage found; large indented and polished pontil, with additional smaller polished pontil area - if you have any questions about this item, contact me. Antique Wine Jug  

Victorian blue glass wine jug with silverplated mount; very pretty jug with glass handle. The silverplated hinged, lidded, mount has charming foliate pattern engraving and a shell thumbpiece. The plain glass is sapphire blue, not too dark. c.1890. Height 22cm.

Antique German silver mounted cut-glass claret jug; glass baluster body to a plain collar with elongated spout and handle, with cut-glass stopper. 800 Crown & Crescent mark. Lovely quality. Super gift. Dresden. c.1900. Hermann Behrnd. Height 38cm.

c.1882 HEPPELL WHITE MILK OPAL PRESSED GLASS FISH JUG   

NEW. A good, crisply moulded example of W.H. Heppell's popular fish design wares in opal white; the straighter pouring lip indicating a cream jug rather than a milk jug (see "English Pressed Glass", Raymond Slack, Barrie & Jenkins 1987, page 104). 19thC cut glass and silverplate claret jug  

19th century cut glass baluster shaped claret jug with cast and applied silverplate mounts in the form of trailing vines, leaves and grapes, with naturalistic twisted grapevine handle. A grape bunch and leaf form the finial, and the interior is gilded. This claret jug has superb quality and is in excellent condition. Size 10.75 inches high by 6 inches wide.

c.1870 ENGRAVED WINE WATER JUG PITCHER FLASK  

An excellent wine or water jug, with a cascade rim, rounded dab handle, ovoid body, knopped pedestal base, the foot embellished with a cut star burst. The body is decorated with fine quality engraving that includes palmettes, berry swags, bell drops, bead bands, flowers and scrollwork. 1864 SILVER TOP AMBER WINE FLAGON, JUG, JAR, DECANTER, FLASK  

A fine amber wine flagon, with a dab handle, sterling silver ball top cork stopper, and wavy edge banded silver collar. Condition: some surface scuffing and wear commensurate with age; one or two small, unobtrusive dents to the stopper rim, cork fit a little loose due to shrinkage but cork whole; bottle and handle undamaged; deeply indented base - if you have any questions about this item, contact me. c1890 CRANBERRY CLARET WINE JUG PITCHER DECANTER EWER,   

A very fine wine jug, with a tall, lighthouse similar form, and an ornate white metal, possibly pewter top and handle. The body is decorated with applied cranberry machine threading, the metal top and handle are embellished with various relief motifs including ornate scrollwork, leaves, fronds, flower heads, an animal mask (on the handle), and a bud finial. c1900 WMF IRIDESCENT WINE JUG PITCHER FLASK DECANTER  

A very fine claret or wine jug, with a long, drop shaped body and ornate metal top. The hinged top is decorated with relief scrollwork and leafy floral sprigs, the interior is silver plated; the scrolled handle is embellished with auricular designs. The glass body has a dimpled net like surface and displays good petrol iridescence depending on the light direction. Condition: scroll on the top finial out of true; hinge possibly at some time repaired (difficult to know for sure); hinge lug replaced; rubbing to the plate on the interior surface; no physical damage to the top or handle, no damage to the glass body - if you have any questions about this item, contact me.
