Offered for sale is this good set of eight mahogany Queen Anne style dining chairs consisting of six single and two carver chairs. This good set of chairs date from about 1920 and have a yoke shaped back rail with vase shaped centre splat above newly reupholstered drop-in seats and on cabriole supports united by turned stretchers. The chairs are of good quality and are in excellent showroom condition having been cleaned revived and polished with all joints firm and the seats reupholstered in a gold and cream John Lewis fabric.

The chairs are of good quality and are in excellent showroom condition having been cleaned revived and polished with all joints firm and the seats reupholstered in hide.

Set of Six Mahogany Reilly Spoon Back Dining Chairs ca 1870 This beautiful set of six antique Victorian mahogany spoon back dining chairs are stamped by the renowned maker Reilly. The chairs have beautifully curved carved backs, stand on splayed back legs and have turned reeded front legs. One of the top rails has a small chip and the chairs have been newly upholstered in a neutral cream fabric with a matching braid trim, are a warm medium mahogany colour with a striking grain, good patina, are in good condition and have been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
