Victorian Walnut Davenport / Writing Desk ca 1890 This beautiful antique Victorian walnut davenport / writing desk has a turned gallery top above a black tooled leather writing slope which lifts and the interior has a large storage space. The piece has panelled sides, back and front and the front is a cupboard door and the interior has one removable shelf. The piece has four beautiful shaped brackets, stands on wooden castors, is a warm medium walnut colour with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing. Antique Victorian Walnut Davenport / Writing Desk ca 1870 This beautiful antique Victorian walnut davenport / writing desk has a domed top with a lift up lid and the interior has several letter racks, pen holder and ink well holder. The piece has a lift up writing slope with a black faux leather writing insert and the interior has one small drawer, three faux drawers and two pigeon holes. The piece has four graduating mahogany lined drawers with turned knobs and the opposite side has four faux drawers with turned knobs. The piece has four beautifully shaped brackets, some boxwood string inlay around the edges and stands on four small turned feet with brown porcelain castors. The piece is a rich warm walnut colour with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing. Edwardian mahogany desk

A small very pretty mahogany desk of the Edwardian period.It is inlaid with boxwood stringing, has a lifting green leathered writing slope, with a very attractive upstand at the back. Date circa 1900. Sizes: 21"wide, 20"deep, 45" high.

A VICTORIAN WALNUT DAVENPORT HAVING A GALLERIED TOP AND A LEATHER INSERT, AND STANDS ON A PLATFORM BASE WITH BUN FEET. THE FRONT SUPPORTS ARE CARVED AT THE KNEES AND TOES. THE TOP LIFTS TO REVEAL PAPER RACKS AND PEN TRAYS, AND TWO PULL OUT DRAWERS. THE LEFT SIDE IS FITTED WITH FOUR DUMMY DRAWERS, THE RIGHT SIDE HAVING FOUR DRAWERS THAT OPEN. THE SIZE IS APPROX 21"WIDE, 21"DEEP, 33"HIGH. THIS IS IN GREAT CONDITION FOR ITS AGE.

This striking antique Victorian Burr walnut davenport / writing desk has a beautifully shaped writing compartment that sits perfectly at the rear of the desk and has several letter compartments and pen holder. The compartments are made from fine yet sturdy pieces of wood. This delightful piece has a lift up lid with brass hinges and beautiful bevelled edging around the top. The writing slope has a faux black leather writing surface and the interior has pigeon holes, faux drawers with petite knobs. The piece is serpentine fronted, has two beautifully scrolled uprights, has four graduating mahogany lined drawers with neat turned knobs at either side. The piece stands on turned bun feet with casters and is a golden walnut colour with striking grain, good patina, and is in good condition, which has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
