Francis Molton is known to have worked in St Lawrence steps Norwich around c1815.
The 8 inch mahogany case is set with a concave brass bezel and has ebony stringing. The adjustment of the set hand is by rather a unique method using a cogged spindle which no other maker appears to have used.
