A lovely Meiji period ivory okimono of barrel makers signed Tomoyuki. Modelled as three figures working on a large barrel while a fourth lounges inside the barrel smoking a pipe and with a dog seated and leaning against the side of the barrel. I like the underside of this okimono, the carver has paid as much attention to it as the top which is nice. This piece measures 6.5cm wide by 3cm tall by 6cm deep. In excellent condition with minor age lines throughout. The stand is for display purposes only.
