A delightful Edo period ivory netsuke of Ashinaga holding the nose of a Tengu mask with two children climbing the nose of the mask and one on the leg of Ashinaga. Ashinaga is standing on a beautifully carved abalone shell. This superb piece measures just 6.5cm tall by 4cm wide by 2.5cm deep. The stand is for display purposes only.
