A superb example of a circular vanity box made from a heavy piece of English crystal, beautifully hand-cut.
The lid is made from English Sterling silver topped with the prettiest pink guilloche enamel with a bright patina showcasing the engine turning below. The silver is fully hallmarked Birmingham 1934 together with the silversmith's initials for William Greenwood & Sons.
Excellent condition measuring 4" in diameter x 2" tall.
