A delightful solid silver chamberstick with a gadrooned edge decoration,, all three parts are marked for London 1817, maker William Elliot.
Overall in an excellent condition, there are styilised initials on the base and the snuffer, also unusually on the bottom underneath is also engraved 1817.
The only fault is the silver peg which holds the snuffer to the thumb piece is loose (please see photographs) otherwise no faults or repairs.
A stunning piece of English Georgian silver.
Also of a good size 3.5" high,6" across and a width of 5.5"and weight of 279 grams
