Of Lovely Small Proportions, This Impressive Quality Figured Rosewood Victorian Antique Glazed Bookcase dates from around 1850. It has a beautifully figured top with half round inverted breakfront edge above two glazed doors with key with working lock. This stunning antique features spectacular turned columns with acanthus leaf carvings and the interior comprises of two removable shelves. It stands on an inverted breakfront plinth and benefits from maintaining the original backboards. The Rosewood has aged to a rich shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
