A large and impressive hand hammered Silver Arts & Crafts bowl with lid.
The lid has feet so it can be used as a spoon tray when not on the bowl.
Lid and bowl both have the makers mark of the Pairpoint Brothers and
Both are fully hallmarked for London. The lid is 1918 and the bowl 1917.
The lid fits perfectly
It is very heavy and weighs 16.3 Troy Oz or 507 grams.
With the lid on the height is 9.5cm excluding the feet.
Diameter 14cm at its widest.
Great condition with no damage, repairs or inscriptions.
Some light surface scratching as expected.
A superb piece of Arts & Crafts Silver that is oversized and striking. It was completely black before an arm aching clean and after a few more cleans I think it will look even more wonderful.
