C19th French animalier bronzed spelter study of a recumbent greyhound .
Smart bronzed metal study of a greyhound , its head twisted , reclining upon a naturalistically-modelled base. Good attention to detail with lean torso and curled tail .
Raised upon an integral moulded edge oval ended base . The base with original wooden insert.
In the manner of the celebrated French animalier bronze sculptor P.J .Mene.
