An unusual 19th. Century spoon rack in the form of a bureau bookcase. I beleive it is of welsh origin. Made of pine with original painted decoration. The glass knobs and the paper backing in the upper half are original. The flap of the bureau section is hinged to allow access to the compartment beneath. It is large for the type measuring 34" high and 14"wide.
