Impressive Caernarfonshire Antique Oak Welsh Dresser.
This antique oak dresser is a very good example of a 19th century antique Caernarfonshire dresser.
In great, unaltered condition, even the green paint on the backboards is period.
Dating from around 1840, this antique oak Welsh dresser features a break fronted base with all the correct ebony diamond shaped eschuteons and beautiful fruitwood, turned handles.
A lovely Welsh oak dresser, which stands on swept 'fish belly' bracket feet.
The top rack section can be split from the break fronted base for ease of movement.
The colour/patina is very good and original.
A nice extra feature on this antique dresser is the quarter columns on each side of the drawers.
The top three drawers in the base are fully working and the central bottom three drawers are fake.
This antique Welsh oak dresser base is one of the nicest we have ever had in stock.
