This is a superb example of a German mahogany lancet clock by the premier clockmaker HAC.
This is was HACs top of the range model with full Westminster chimes with chime silence control.
The mahogany case has satinwood stringing and inlay and has a wonderful rich colour and patina, this is complimented by the original silver mask and dial with a contrasting brass door.
Very much in the Gothic style and design much favoured by the Victorians and made around 1890.
The movement has just undergone a full overhaul, clean and service by Alan Williams of Plymouth clocks, who is a fellow of the British Horological Institute with over 40 years experience working with high quality clocks so you can be assured that this clock is in tip top condition and will give trouble free service for many years to come.
The clock comes with a key.
It is keeping accurate time to within 1 minute a week.
The clock comes with a full 12 month warranty.
