Grace Theadora Bowen was a Leeds painter in oils and watercolours. She lived between 1884 and 1963 and was the sister of Owen Bowen, one of the founder members of the Staithes Group of artists. She exhibited work at the Royal Academy, Liverpool and also at local exhibitions around the Yorkshire area.
"ROSES" is a charming oil painting on board measuring 12"x 9". It is indistinctly signed lower left and is contained in a period gilt frame.
