Splendid Georgian Dressing Mirror - Twin Drawers - c1790
A gorgeous example of an English Georgian Dressing Mirror.
This break-front piece is in great order throughout and benefits from twin drawers with mahogany linings and original pulls.
The mirror sits upon magnificent eagles talon ball and claw feet and has an adjustable rear foot to allow for placement upon uneven surfaces.
Turned and well detailed riser bars support the cross-banded veneered frame. The body of the mirror displays superb veneer with inlay to the forward blocks and ebony stringing to the outer of the drawers.
The mirror plate is original, in good order, and shows some marks of age and light foxing.
Overall a simply lovely Georgian mirror in great condition and a piece to be welcomed into any location.
